otters
Otters. Most Otters can chase their prey underwater and catch it in their mouths. But Oriental short-clawed Otters find much
of their food by touch alone. The stubby fingers feel for prey among the stones and mud on the riverbed. For most Otters the main
prey is fish, but Oriental Otters feed mainly on invertebrates such as crayfish and molluscs. Their molar teeth are broad for crushing
the hard shells of their prey.
