Wardrobe Tower. Constructed by William Longchamp, the Bishop of Ely who was regent to Richard the Lionheart between 1190 and 1199. The tower was used to hold the Kings clothes, armour and some personal affects. Part of the original wall from the Roman city of Londinium was built into the tower.
