Introduction: The Durrants Hotel, a Georgian Townhouse
hotel,is located in central London and in the heart of Marylebone and close to
Oxford Street, one of the countries busiest and best shopping areas in terms of

a boundary of the quieter Marylebone area to the North and the lively West End

Furnished throughout by 18th century antiques, lots of dark wood panelling and
Victorian military prints, paying homage to the Durrants Hotel Georgian and
Victorian past. The hotel has its own individual character and charm offering a
traditional English style. The entrance hall features an Edwardian post box.

contemporary twist. a La Carte an daily menus (menu changes on a regular basis).

George Bar: Intimate and cosy. Wood panelled with leather chairs with a real
coal fireplace complete with period black iron gate. Sophisticated feel and
serves cocktails and a full range of drinks.

History: Among the oldest surviving hotels in
London. Durrants Hotel was originally a conversion of four adjoining Georgian
townhouses in 1789, opening as an Inn in 1790 and named after its first owner, a
Mr Durrant. It has been enlarged further over the years. Has been owned by the
Miller family since 1921.
