Introduction: Located on the northern border of the City of London is the Crowne Plaza Shoreditch. The building first opened as a hotel in May 2004 the hotel is located at the North end of Shoreditch High Street which is the extension of Bishopsgate where many top companies are based especially in the Broadgate complex. Close to Liverpool street station which has a direct train service to Stansted Airport, the Stansted Express. On Sundays the nearby Commercial Street and Middlesex Street's host thriving markets. The hotels location marks something of a geographical divide. To the North and North East the areas tend to be lower class in nature with less glamourous places of interest than to be found the main tourist areas. However just south of the hotel is the City of London with its many upmarket bars, restaurants and pubs catering for the high earning working population in the area.
