Introduction: The Town Hall Hotel London is located in east London in an area known as Bethnal Green. 500 yards from Victoria Park, 200 acres of open space first opened in 1845. Close by is the Museum of Childhood (0.1 miles), on Cambridge Heathrow Road it houses the national collection of childhood related objects and artefacts dating from the 17th century to modern times. Cambridge Heath Road and the adjoining Mare Street is a busy main road with a range of small/medium sized shops and amenities. Hotel:
Formerly the building was the Bethnal Green town hall first opened in 1910 and disused apart from use as a a film set since 1993. The former Edwardian building has now transformed into a luxury hotel and apartments. The Town Hall Hotel and Apartments opened in April 2010, the result of 3 years of renovation and the brain child of entrepreneur and hotelier, Loh Lik Peng. Much of the original grand interior remains. Interiors have oak panelling and marble floors, a soaring glazed dome and vast mahogany-walled suites. Furnished with works of arts from young aspiring artists.

All rooms come with individually controlled air conditioning and heating, Kitchen with microwave, oven, grill, dishwasher, complimentary wireless internet access, telephone point in each room, ironing facilities, flat screen TV with DVD player and tea and coffee facilities. Bathrooms are furnished with bespoke furniture by Hatt UK. Free toiletries are supplied daily.

Its tasting menus combine the simple with the extravagant radishes grown in a local garden pique the appetite for iberico pork belly crumbed on scallops in mushroom veloute, a beetroot sorbet clears the palette for melt-in-the-mouth beef from a smallholding in North Wales. Designed by Rare architects, with bespoke, hand-made furniture, every table creates an intimate, private world for diners to enjoy this special food.
Viajantes Bar: Chic cocktail bar. Featuring a fantastical chandelier art-installation created by Rare architecture in conjunction with Parisian designer Tzuri Gueta, this stylish but welcoming bar marries contemporary flair with the elegance of a bygone age. Relax at a private table or watch the bartender mix up a deliciously decadent cocktail. With its stunning design, soft lighting and a high-quality wine and cocktail list, thel bar attracts an eclectic crowd, from guests enjoying a pre-dinner drink to people coming home from the City who appreciate Town Hall's sophisticated but relaxed atmosphere.
The Supper Club: This special event takes place in Town Halls signature-design suite The De Montfort. 16 guests share a table while the chef prepares a 12 course meal.

The hotel features a 15 meter by 3.5 meter indoor swimming pool. There is also a fitness room where treadmills are fitted with TVs allowing for a virtual run though international landscapes.
Spa treatments are available in-room by arrangement via reception.
