Location: The Apex London Wall is located just off of
that famous road in the heart of the City of London. This is the main financial
and business district and often referred to as the square mile in reference to
its approximate size. If your looking to stay in this area then no doubt its for
the convenience of being within walking distance of the 0offcies of some of the
worlds best companies and banks. The area has plenty of restaurants and bars but
is much quieter on weekends as most people move out of this area on non-working
days. The main tourist areas are some 2 miles to the west around Piccadilly
Circus and the
West End W1.
The hotel is on Copthall Avenue and this is a small and winding side turning.
Even though its a small turning there are still some restaurants/coffee bars on
the street. The road called London wall is actually partly the remains of the
wall built by the Romans for defensive reasons and remained intact for over 1000
years. Its also home to one of the worlds largest urban history museums, The
Museum of
London, at number 150. The City of London is home to some famous markets
including of the UK's oldest, Petticoat Lane Market, with a good selection of
stools geared to the fashion and garment market. Smithfield Meat Market is just
off Charterhouse Street.

(Bartholomew Lane), Bank of England (0.1 miles) (Threadneedle Street), Royal
Exchange Shopping centre (0.2 miles) (between Threadneedle Street and Cornhill),

The hotel is conveniently within a few minutes of 2 major stations, Moorgate
(Metropolitan, Circle and Hammersmith and City) and Bank (Central, Northern,
Circle and District). The Apex London Wall Hotel was newly opened in November
2009 having previously been used as offices, the conversion cost some £35
million pounds. 1/3rd of a mile from Liverpool Street Station which runs the
Stansted
Express train service to
Stansted Airport.
The hotel decor uses natural stone and marble throughout giving a relaxed feel
with a contemporary art deco style.
The bedrooms are in four configurations which cover City, Superior, Deluxe and
Junior Suites.
Bedrooms all have air-conditioning, cable television, phone, fridge, CD/DVD
player, 42" flat screen TV, surround sound system, complimentary wireless
internet access, coffee/tea making facilities, ironing and ironing board, safe

City rooms are more spacious, have a King size bed and guests are supplied with
a bathrobe.
Superior rooms are as the City room but with a touch more luxury. They come with
a sofa, desk, king-size bed, bathrobes and slippers and upgraded toiletries.
Junior Suites have a separate living area, partitioned off from the bedroom, and
the extras found in superior rooms.
