on Clarendon Road just under half a mile way. The towns High Street is centred
along Shenley Road which is the extension of Elstree Way. Lots of shops and
restaurants and with a large supermarket, Tesco, at its East end and just 400
yards from the hotel. Borehamwood Shopping Park is 0.7 miles way on Theobald
Street at the end of the High Road (Shenley Road). Its open 7 days a week and
has a host of major stores. This part of north London is rich in gold courses
with no less than 10 courses within 3.5 miles, the nearest being Arkley Golf
Course (1.1 miles). Nearest places of interest include the 65 acres of Aldenham
Coutry Park (2.1 miles), Barnet Museum (2.8 miles), De Havilland Aircraft Museum
(3.7 miles), Potters Bar Museum (4 miles) and the
RAF Museum
(4.4 miles). The hotel is served by good road links with the A1 dual carriageway
giving links into central London and M25 motorway giving links out to all London
airports.

History: Developed by Salmon Developments and opened February 11th 2008 on the
site of a former theatre. Planning permission was granted in 2006 despite local
opposition. The original plans had 8 floors and this was changed to be more in
keeping with the local surroundings.
