Introduction: The Courtyard by Marriott Gatwick Airport is just 0.3 miles from the main terminals and just opposite the long term car parks at the airport. Although closest to the south terminal the two terminals are connected by a frequent service monorail. Right by the exit from junction 9a of the M23 motorway giving excellent road access. The M23 connects to the M25 which itself connects to several major motorways namely the M40, M4, M11, M1 and M20. It also leads onto the A23 will take you into central London. If you travel south the M23 leads down to the south coast and Brighton. An alternative to using the road network is the mainline railway station under Gatwick South terminal, from here you can be in London Victoria within 30 minutes. Both terminals offer restaurants and other facilities landside while there are fast food outlets within the grounds of the airport. Nearest town is Horley at less than a mile while the larger town of Crawley at under 3 miles to the south offers far more in the way of amenities. Within Horley is a small but thriving theatre called the Archway Theatre while within Crawley is the Crawley Leisure Park, The children's themed play area called the Arctic Jungle and the 42,000 sq.mtrs of the County Shopping Mall.
