Introduction: The Premier Inn Gatwick South is just 1.5 miles from the airport (closest to the North terminal). Its a straight run along the A23 London Road (a dual carriageway) from the airport to the hotel and vice versa. The hotel is located within the grounds of the Gatwick Manor Chef and Brewer Restaurant and Bar. The hotel rooms being to the rear of the restaurant and bar. This is made up of function rooms, pub (open from 11.00) and restaurant with a regular diary of events (such as ladies nights, quiz nights and BBQ nights). The manor is an attraction in itself with a history dating back to the 13th century. The hotel is just North from the medium sized town of Crawley. Here you will find a range of amenities including a leisure centre (with bowling) 1.3 miles away and the County Shopping Mall 1.75 miles from here. For major attractions the nearest is at Chessington World of Adventures (15.6 miles to the north) (straight line). There are several golf courses with the local vicinity the nearest being Ifield Golf and Country Club (2.4 miles), Tilgate Forest Golf Centre (2.9 miles) and Copthorne (3.3 miles).
