Introduction: The Arora International Heathrow Hotel
(built in 1999) is located on the Bath Road which is part of the A4 dual
carriageway and the main road into and out of West London. The hotel is opposite
the BA Compass Centre where flight crew report for work. Slightly away from most
of the big hotels located along the Bath Road but close to the main vehicle
entrance for terminals 1,2 and 3. Its actually between the central area and
terminal 5 which is just over 1 mile way. Terminal 4 is on the opposite side of
the airport just under 2 miles way. Although located on a busy main road there
is little in the immediate vicinity by way of amenities. There's a McDonalds
Restaurant half a mile to the West alongside a petrol station while with 0.7
miles are two
local
pubs, the Crown on Sipson Road and the Three Magpies also on the Bath Road.
The
airport bowling centre is 1.5 miles to the east along the Bath Road. The
hotels location just opposite the grounds of the airports means that some rooms
have views over the runway.
Hotel:
This was the first hotel in the growing Arora chain which also manages hotels
under franchise agreements for other major brands such as the
Sofitel Heathrow. A modern purpose built hotel, the Arora Hotel Heathrow that has a classic style to
its interiors.
Bedrooms have either a front or rear view, rear being views over the local
countryside or the front being being views over the airport grounds. Rooms are
all triple glazed and are air-conditioned. In-room amenities include laptop
sized safe, mini fridge, trouser press, hairdryer, iron/ironing board, tea/coffee tray, high
speed internet access, direct dial telephone and TV with pay-per-view movies.
Premier rooms are larger, have views of the north runway and come with bathrobes
and upgraded toiletries.

Dining:
The hotels dining facility is the Smiths Bar and Restaurant which can seat 80
guests and is to be found next to the lobby. Here a freshly cooked British and
international menu is served. Smaller children's portions are available at
reduced cost along with vegetarian options.
Restaurant is open every day 06.30 till 22.30. Early breakfast option form
06.00.
The
bar area features a large screen TV with SKY sports events shown and a pool table. A
full range of drinks are served including cocktails along with a bar menu.

The hotel has 8 air-conditioned meeting rooms all fitted with the latest in
audio visual equipment. These rooms can handle anything from 4 to 120 delegates.

with a range of cardio machines and is located on the lower ground floor. The
facility is complimentary for guests.
The Arora Heathrow Hotel also features a Nail Bar and Beautician, open 5 days a
week from 09:00 to 17:00.
WiFi is accessible in all public areas while internet workstations are located
in the lounge. In the lounge you will also find massage chairs. The hotels lobby
has three shops which takes in a gift shop, shoe shop and nail bar. Reception is
staffed 24/7.
