Introduction: The Holiday Inn Heathrow Airport Hotel
Sipson Way/Bath Road opened in August 2000 and is located close to the main
vehicle entrance into London Heathrow Airport terminals 1,2 and 3 (terminal 4 is
on the opposite side of the hotel). The hotel is also very close to the M4
junction with the airport road. The M4 links up with M25 which in turn link out
to the M40, M23 and M11 motorways. The hotel is away from the bulk of hotels
that are located on the Bath Road (which is also part of the A4 dual carriageway
that leads into London) being to the West of the main entrance. Within 400 yards
is the Magpie pub which is a local landmark as its located by the entrance to
the airport as you come of the A4. The pub serves cooked meals. Within half a
mile is a MacDonald's restaurant (also on the Bath Road and to the East) and the
Heathrow Visitor centre. You will also a find the
Heathrow bowling ally with another MacDonald's incorporated into the
building within 1 mile to the East of the A4. Other local attractions include
Osterley Park House (4.6 miles), set in 300 acres a collection of the works of
architect Robert Adam. Within 10 miles are three major UK attractions,
Thorpe Park
(5.6 miles),
Legoland (6.8 miles) and
Chessington World of Adventures (9.9 miles). This is also a popular area for
golf courses with 7 within 3 miles. The nearest is the Heathpark Golf Club at
1.2 miles away. The hotel is also less than a mile from the major business area
of Stockley Park.

The Holiday Inn Heathrow consists of three intimate pavilions with views towards
the main Heathrow Airport runways.
All rooms are air conditioned with modern en-suite facilities (full-size bath
and power shower). Other in-room facilities include Coffee/tea Maker, cable TV
with pay movies, Hairdryer, alarm clock, Hanging Closet, Direct dial telephone,
duvet, triple glazing, complimentary toiletries, stationary, workstations with
modem points, Electronic messaging, WIFI internet access, Tea Maker and Trouser
Press. Executive rooms offer upgrades that includes Thick towelling robes,
toiletries by Molton Brown, Bathroom scales, Fully stocked minibar, magazines,
ISDN lines with additional telephones and modem points and upgraded furnishings.
Half of the rooms at the hotel are non-smoking. The hotel also has rooms adapted
to be accessible for the physically impaired. These rooms feature Wider doors,
Low spyholes, Flat-floored shower, Seat in shower, Grab rails, Lower sinks,
Emergency cords and Flashing light for fire alarms. These rooms are limited and
subject to availability. Room service is 24 hours.
Dining Options:
Wings Restaurant: Open plan restaurant. Sophisticated, modern dining experience,
with limestone, leather, solid walnut timers with chrome detailing and Italian
lighting effects. Also features large contemporary artworks. The seasonal menu
features freshly cooked local produce individually cooked to order. While the
daily buffet includes international dishes from around the world. Discrete
screens offers privacy while dinning without inhibiting your view of the
restaurant. Serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Open 6.30 am to 11.00 pm.
Breakfast offers a large choice from a fully cooked English breakfast to
healthier options such as cereals and juices. There's also a breakfast check-out
facility.
Wings Bar: Here the ambience is laid back and contemporary. The bar serves a
large range of drinks that include whisky's, wines, beers and cocktails from
across the globe as well as speciality coffee's. Hot and cold snacks served
throughout the day. Open: 7:00 am until late.

On site the Holiday Inn Heathrow has its own Mini Gym with modern exercise and
cardio machines along with weights. You can even enjoy the television and sound
system while you exercise.
For the business traveller the hotel provides a dedicated business centre. Here
you can find secretarial services as well as facilities such as computers with
e-mail and office programs, printing and copying, fax, courier and message
services.
Onsite are 16 air-conditioned state-of-the-art meeting rooms featuring
facilities such as natural daylight, blackout facilities, interactive TV and
video, overhead projector and two flip charts, slide projector and High speed
internet access. The largest room can accommodate up to 150 delegates.
The public areas have WIFI internet access. Other hotel services include
dry-cleaning and laundry, currency exchange, Babysitting (must be arranged in
advance at the hotel), Express check-out and Shoe cleaning machines. Safety
deposit box facilities are supplied free of charge at the front reception.

close to the airport. It is important you know the exact address of the one you
want since 2 have Bath Road in their address and 2 also have Sipson in their

hotel hoppa bus) running between the airport and the hotel from 5.26 am
until 23.20. There is a charge for this service.

History: The hotel was one of the first two
hotels along with the Holiday Inn Farnborough to roll out the Holiday Inn brand
re-launch in the second quarter of 2008. The new concept included a new logo,
new bedding, a new shower experience and a signature scent and sound package.
This re-launch see's the brand standardise facilities and bring a far more
modern feel across its entire portfolio.
