Introduction: The Holiday Inn Heathrow Ariel Hotel is
conveniently located
for passengers flying into and out of Heathrow Airport. The
hotel is located on the Bath Road, this is the main road running alongside the
South side of the airport. Bath Road is also where most of the most popular
Heathrow Hotels are situated. Just a few yards from the Hotel is the
Heathrow Airport Bowling centre which includes a Barcelos (Flame Grilled
Chicken) restaurant onsite. Further along the bath Road to the East and within
half a mile are two local pubs, the 'Wheatsheaf' and the 'White Hart'. Opposite
the Holiday Inn Ariel is the entrance to the Southern perimeter road which gives
internal access to all areas of the airport. This means road access to all
terminals is very convenient from this location. For terminals 1,2 and 3 you
turn right, for terminal 4 you turn left. Many of the car rental lots are
located on the Southern Perimeter Road. A nearby attraction is Osterley Park
House (3.6 miles), 300 acres of grounds and housing a collection of the works of
architect Robert Adam. Heathrow's own
visitor centre is less than half a mile away. 2 major UK attractions are
conveniently accessed from this location,
Thorpe Park
(6 miles) and
Legoland (9.2 miles), both West of the hotel.

Heathrow
hoppa No. H6 and H56) running between the airport (all terminals) and the
hotel from 5.14 am until 23.08. Cost is
£4 one way, £7 return (onboard £4.50 one way, £8 return)

Local Heathrow bus to Terminal 5 (423). Buses from outside the hotel go to
Terminals 1,2,3 Central Bus Station (105/111/140).

Comment: The Ariel was
actually the second major Heathrow hotel to built on the Bath Road in the
