The Glenlyn Hotel

Introduction: The Glenlyn Hotel is located in the residential area of Woodside Park in the north London suburb of north Finchley. Close to a very busy and bustling high street with a large range of shops, amenities and bars as well as two supermarkets. Less than one mile away is the Great Northern Leisure Complex which includes a multi cinema complex and bowling alley. The leisure complex itself is next door to Finchley open air swimming pool. Just past the leisure complex is the A406 North Circular Road which is the dual carriageway that circles north London. It provides links to the M11 and M1 motorways. Just past the A406 is the start of another major shopping high street at East Finchley. Other nearby attractions include the London Museum of Jewish Life (1.6 miles), Church Farmhouse Museum (2.8 miles), RAF museum (3 miles), Kenwood House (3.1 miles) and Brent Cross Shopping Centre (3.4 miles).

Hotel:
This family run hotel is made up from 4 former Victorian Houses. Onsite facilities include the hotels own bar, lounge and the rear garden with a terrace where guests can relax weather permitting. WiFi internet access is available at the hotel. The main front desk is staffed 24 hours.
The hotel serves breakfast (full English and continental) in its conservatory dining area (07.00 till 09.30). There is also a choice of restaurants within the local vicinity.
Each bedroom is individually decorated (apx 20 sq mtrs) and comes with its own en-suite facilities. Other in-room amenities include central heating, 32" flat screen TV with freeview digital channels, direct dial phone, television and tea/coffee maker. Beds have cotton sheets. Bedrooms have complimentary WiFi access.
Room options include singles, doubles, twins and family rooms.

Apartments:
The Glenlyn has 3 one bedroom apartments (apx 70 sq mtrs) that are housed within a separate annexe just ten meters from the main guest house block. Separate from the main house this means they have their own dedicated entrance and security door entry system. Each apartment is fitted with a well equipped kitchen, Washing/Drying Machine, fully fitted wardrobes, bathrooms with a walk-in shower and have a separate lounge and bedroom.  Amenities include large flat screen television, hairdryer, ironing station, DVD/CD player and ‘Hypnos’ beds (King size or can be made up as twins). There's also a 3rd single bed for a guest and the option of a sofa bed in the lounge on request. Guests still have use of the main hotels facilities including the breakfast room.
