The Barn Hotel

Introduction: The Barn Hotel is located in the town of Ruislip, walking distance to Ruislip station and close road links such as the A40 Western Avenue. The A40 runs into central London and along the Marylebone Road. This location is on the West side of London and some 13 miles from the centre. Close to large town areas such as Harrow and Hillingdon. The hotel itself is on West End Road which is the the continuation of the High Street at its south end. Along the high street you will find a selection of shops. One of the better known landmarks in this area is the Polish War Memorial found on the A40 by the A4180. Just 1.3 miles from RAF Northolt Aerodrome. Wembley Stadium can be accessed within 15 minutes from the nearby Ruislip tube.

Hotel:
A boutique style hotel with the benefit of being surrounded by 3 acres of its own landscaped gardens. Originally built in 1962.

The guest rooms each have a traditional style with a retro (old world) feel. Each room comes with cable television (with internet access and pay movies), direct dial telephone with modem point and messaging, hairdryer, trouser press and tea/coffee facilities. Iron and ironing board can be requested. Room service is available 24 hours.
Room options include suites (some with luxury themes, some have 4 poster beds and a whirlpool) and directors rooms.

Dining:
Onsite is the Hawtrey's Restaurant. This a 2 AA rosette holder and serves contemporary French cuisine. Here the menu is a choice of fixed or A' La Carte. Meals are accompanied by a varied wine list specialising in French vintages. The setting is designed to resemble a Jacobean Baronial Hall. Walls are decorated with oil paintings and covered with mahogany panelling. The ceiling features oak beams. The setting has a sophisticated tone.
There is also a bar decorated in a similar manner and which serves a good selection of cocktails, malt whiskeys and cognacs.

The hotel is a major venue for weddings in the local area with 5 dedicated suites for all types of occasions. The Cromwell Room is licensed for civil wedding ceremonies.
