H10 London Waterloo

Introduction: Sitting between the busy areas of Waterloo and the Elephant and Castle places the H10 London Waterloo close to major commuter links, popular shopping areas and with good access to the popular tourist areas of Central London. The hotels location is on the south side of the River Thames while the most central areas are located on the north side of the River with Piccadilly Circus and the West End around 1.4 miles to the north west and is accessed via Waterloo or Westminster Bridge. The Elephant and Castle and many shops and bars but is a down market area compared to the main tourist areas. More touristy would be Borough High Street which is around half a mile way to the north east. Waterloo station is on the of 5 main railway stations within greater London and offers services out to the rest of the UK as well as being a stop on the London underground and tube service. Well located for Westminster and the Houses of Parliament (House of Commons and House of Lords) which is less than a mile across Westminster Bridge.
There are many nearby places on interest which include the Imperial War Museum (0.2 miles), Young Vic Theatre (0.3 miles), Imax Cinema (0.5 miles), London Aquarium (0.6 miles), Tate Modern (0.6 miles), Royal festival hall (0.6 miles) and the Hayward Gallery (0.6 miles). Also just 0.6 miles away is the must-see London Eye, a giant Catherine Wheel on which pods are placed allowing visitors to take in huge views over the whole of London.

Brand new purpose built hotel, the H10 London Waterloo opened in March 2010. This is a modern hotel with the latest amenities such as complimentary wireless internet access throughout as well as a dedicated business corner with free internet. The hotels interiors are a mix of European functionalism but with a British style.
Bedrooms come with flat screen TV with international channels, Minibar, hairdryer, phone, digital safe, air-conditioning, Intelligent temperature control, Media Hub (iPod and PC connection) and kettle. All rooms en-suite with toiletries supplied and steam free mirrors.

Onsite is the hotels a La Carte restaurant, Three O Two, and the modern style hotel bar, Circus Bar. The restaurant serves Mediterranean and International dishes and looks out onto Waterloo Road. The Circus bar is located in the hotel lobby.
