Introduction: The Park Plaza Westminster Bridge is located by the foot of Westminster Bridge, just on its south side. The bridge gives quick access to the north side of the river, Westminster and Parliament Square which is home to the Houses of Parliament. Opposite the hotel sits one of the UK's most popular attractions, The London Eye, which is at the east end of the South Bank. Next to the London Eye is the Old County Hall which was once the seat of government for London when it was home to the GLC (Greater London Council). Today its home to 2 hotels and the attraction of the London Aquarium. All along the South Bank are many places of interest such as the Museum of Moving Image, Hayward Gallery, Royal Festival Hall and the National Theatre. This location is convenient for the City of London, the financial area of the capital, which is access by either Blackfriars, Southwark or London Bridges. The largest hotel within London the modern Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel was newly opened on 4th February 2010. The interiors feature three 14 storey atrium voids.
Bedrooms are all contemporary in style. They come with 37" flat screen cable television, bedside lighting, work desk, hairdryer, ironing facilities, free wireless internet access, minibar and dual fridge, coffee/tea facilities and in-room laptop size safe. Bathrooms have a separate shower and bath. Accessible rooms have a shower only.
Superior Rooms: approx 27sq m. Face the internal atrium with some natural daylight from the main atrium but no direct external views.
Studio Rooms: approx 36 sq m. External facing overlooking Addington Street and Westminster Bridge Road. Upgrades to Floors 8-12 are available (views of South London) and upgrades to Iconic views of Big Ben or London Eye available are also available. These rooms come with the standard amenities plus Floor-to-ceiling windows and Bathrobes and slippers.
Studios and Penthouses come with a kitchenette along with extras such as luxury bathrobes and slippers, upgraded bathroom amenities and complimentary morning newspapers. They are all external facing.
