Introduction: The Lord Milner
London enjoys a location within one of the most expensive
residential districts within the UK, Belgravia. Indeed just a
street away is Chester Square which is the most expensive street
within the UK and where properties sell for multi million pound
figures. One of the biggest conveniences of this location is that
the major station for both trains and coaches is within walking
distance, Victoria Station. The station is home to the non-stop
service to
Gatwick
Airport, the Gatwick Express. As you would expect in such an
upmarket location, high end shopping is close by with the fashion
shops of Sloane Street and the varied shopping along Kings Road
Chelsea both within 1/3rd of a mile. A little bit further at 1 mile
to the north west is the alternative fashionable amenities and shops
of South Kensington. Many major attractions are close by and some
within walking distance such as the grounds of Buckingham Palace,
the Queens Gallery and Westminster Cathedral within half a mile.
There are 5 theatres within half a mile, Apollo Theatre, Royal Court
Theatre, Theatre Upstairs, Victoria Palace and Westminster Theatre.
0.4 miles to the east on Vauxhall Bridge Road is the Queens Mothers
Sports Centre which includes an indoor swimming pool.
