Introduction: The Quality Crown Hotel Kensington is located in West London between Earls Court and Kensington. Yards from the Cromwell Hospital, a world renowned private hospital, and yards from the large Sainsbury's supermarket. Cromwell Road itself is part of the A4 dual carriageway, a major route into and out of west London and central London, and always busy. The A4 also gives direct road access out to Heathrow Airport and the M4 motorway. A normal run to the airport takes around 25 minutes (longer in traffic). Two major exhibition centres are close by at Earls Court (0.5 miles) and Olympia (0.8 miles). 350 yards to the West is the nearest major shopping area which runs along Earls Court Road. While there's a good range of shops and bars its not of the same quality as other nearby areas. These include Kensington High Street (0.4 miles to the north) with its excellent fashionable shops and cafes and leading down to Kensington Gardens (0.6 miles). South Kensington (0.7 miles to the east) is always popular and has some great designer clothes shops. Kings Road (1 mile to the south) has a reputation for leading the way in off the wall fashions and for its trendy night time bars and restaurants. Other nearby landmarks include Linley Sambourne House (0.5 miles), Natural History Museum (0.6 miles), Kensington Palace (0.6 miles), Leighton house museum (0.7 miles), Science Museum (0.7 miles), Royal Albert Hall (0.7 miles) and the Victoria and Albert Museum (0.8 miles).

The hotel was refurbished along with its re-branding in 2006. The result is a modern and contemporary look to the interior areas and bedrooms.
