Only 300 yards from Kew Gardens (its a little further to the actual main entrance, 5 minute walk) which is home to a massive horticultural showcase and half a mile from the huge open spaces and wild deer of Richmond Park. The location is south west of central London and some 7 miles from the main tourist areas around London's west end which if you are driving is accessed via Chiswick Bridge (or 30 minutes by tube). Just off from the A316 dual carriageway which links with the M3 motorway which in turn links with the M25 London orbital motorway. This gives good links to Gatwick Airport while Heathrow airport is even easier to reach via Kew Bridge (which also gives access to the M4 motorway). Within half a mole are the train station of Richmond (with tube as well) and North Sheen. There are local shops and amenities close by. Other local places on interest include the National Archives (1.1 miles), Syon House and Park (1.3 miles) and Twickenham Rugby Ground (2.2 miles). There is a bus stop almost in front of the hotel.
