Introduction: Rugby fans could not have dreamed for a
better located since the London Marriott Twickenham Hotel is actually part of
the South Stand of Twickenham Rugby sports stadium. This location is some nine
and a half miles to the south west from the heart of central London, and on the
southern side of the River Thames. Access into central London is pretty
straightforward suing the Chiswick Bridge, or Hammersmith and Kew bridges make
for alternatives. Heathrow Airport is only just over 5 miles to the north west.
Twickenham itself is part of the larger area of Richmond and the surrounding
area to the hotel is known for its large number of pubs/bars. There are many

a crazy golf course and gardens). The major attractions of Kew Gardens is just
under 3 miles from the hotel and Hampton Court is 3.6 miles to the south. There
are 4 race courses within 15 miles at Sandown (5.7 miles), Epson (10.7 miles),
Windsor (13 miles) and Ascot (14.9 miles).

The London Marriott Twickenham is a brand new hotel with a modern and
contemporary design and style. 20 minutes by train from Waterloo station and
just 10 minutes (normal traffic) by road from the M25 orbital motorway.

Twenty Two South Chophouse Restaurant (named after the 22 meter drop line on the

hotel. The bar also serves lunch and dinner along with the full range of drinks
and has large screen plasma TV's showing sports events.
There is also a lobby Bar and a 'grab-and-go' coffee lounge.
Adjoining the Marriott Twickenham hotel is the Virgin Active Classic Health Club with a gymnasium,
spa, climbing wall and 20 meter indoor swimming pool. Hotel guests have
complimentary membership.
Meeting/function facilities with 5000 sq meters of floor space catering for up
to 9000 delegates. The largest room can handle 800 guests.
