Hotel:
Once the residence for the Earl of Chesterfield today the hotel stays true to
the charm and character of its former years.
Enter the Chesterfield hotel and you enter an environment of contemporary elegance and
sophistication alongside traditional service. Walls feature wood panelling and
works of art while with chandeliers hanging from ceilings and leather armchairs
for you comfort and are the reasons the hotel is said to have a club-like feel.
Facilities in
all rooms include Cable TV with movies on demand, toiletries in
bathroom, hairdryer, individually controlled air conditioning, direct dial
telephone, iron and ironing board, in-room express check-out, safe, tea and
coffee making facilities, modem line and voicemail. Complimentary wired high speed internet
access in-room while TV has web browser. En-suite bathrooms are finished in
marble with under floor heating, toiletries and phone. Fax machine on request.
Turndown service along with daily maid service and 24 hour room service.
Suites offer more space and additional facilities such as canapés each evening,

Dining:
Butler's Restaurant: overlooks a private Terrace and next to the hotel's glass
roofed conservatory. Serves British cuisine along with international dishes
ranging from Table d'hote to a la carte, vegetarians dishes and daily roast. Pre
theatre specials. Open to residents and non-residents. Friendly and cosy
atmosphere. Excellent wine list.
The Conservatory: Here the hotel serves a range of traditional afternoon teas
(and Champagne) and light meals. The conservatory has views out over the hotels
garden and fountain and the glass structure allows for for the maximum use of
natural daylight.
The Terrace Bar: Fully licensed and serves a full range of drinks. Includes fine
cognacs, malt whiskies and champagnes. Classic and in-house cocktails. Live
piano music each evening (except Sunday). Club like atmosphere where you can
relax with a newspaper or hold meetings. Serves light snacks and sandwiches.
Open till 01.00.
