Introduction: Located in the heart of
Luton Town centre is the Easyhotel Luton, bringing some of the lowest rates
you find for accommodation outside of hostel dormitories. Virtually on your
doorstep is the large town centre which is dominated by the Mall Arndale
Centre with its excellent range of shops the covered mall is open 7 days a
week. Its just a short stroll to the Luton railway station which is linked
almost to the hotel by a pedestrian bridge. However do not confuse
this station with Luton Airport parkway which is the closet station to Luton
airport. However its only 10 minutes from the hotel to the airport by local
taxi which works out very reasonable if there are more than one of you
sharing. The town is also linked to the
airport by public bus routes. The airport is to the east while less than
2 miles to the west is the M1 motorway which leads down to north London
(Brent Cross) as well as to Scotland if you head north and links with the
M25 London orbital motorway. Half a mile north of nthe hotel is Bury Park
which is a large commercial area specialising in fruit, vegetables and
clothing. Heading south and less than a mile find Stockwood Country
Park with formal gardens, golfing, a craft museum and the Mossman Carriage
Collection.
First opened at the end of 2007.
