History: Re-opened in 2017 as Thistle Express Luton. Went into administration in December 2013. The Menzies Strathmore Luton (name at that time) closed in December 2013 after the Menzies Hotel Group was sold to Topland Group. However The Menzies Strathmore was deemed to be unattractive as part of the sale due to the terms of its lease and the hotel shut permantely until Thistle took the hotel on again in 2017.
