Introduction: The Quality Skyline Hotel Luton Airport is located just over 1 mile to the north of the town centre, which is the opposite side to the airport. Luton is a large town with a population of around 230,000 with a busy town centre which has plenty of shopping, bars and other amenities including the covered 'The Mall Arndale' (houses many large department stores) . The town also is notable for holding a huge carnival each May Bank Holiday. The nearby M1 motorway gives fast access into North London or to the North of England. Just one third of a mile from the hotel is Bury Park, a large commercial area where the shops have an ethnic slant selling food and fashion items. 1.2 miles to the south is Stockwood Country Park with its period formal gardens and the Mossman Collection of horse driven carriages. There are also recreational facilities such as golf. The major attraction of Whipsnade Zoo is 5 miles to the east with its 600 acres of parkland which houses a conservation park that is one of the biggest in Europe.
