The Highwayman - Dunstable

Description: The Highwayman sites on the south eastern edge of Dunstable. Actually on the A5 dual carriageway which runs all the way down to central London but a much quicker options is the M1 motorway which is just over 2 miles from the hotel. Dunstable is a small market town in Bedfordshire with a long history and with a population of around 35,000. Luton is just over 3 miles to the east and offers a good range of amenities. Less than a mile away is the Grove Park complex with a theatre, 6 restaurants and bars alongside the leisure centre and Go bowl. Other places of interest include Dunstable Museum (1 mile), Whipsnade Zoo (2.4 miles), Woodside Animal Farm & Leisure Park (2.6 miles) and Bury Park (3.3 miles). The Bletchley Park and Enigma Decoding Machine is 13 miles to the north in Milton Keynes. It was made famous during the second world war as the intelligence HQ and where the German communication code was broken. 11 miles to the south is St Albans and the Verulamium Museum of everyday life in Roman Britain.

The Highwayman Hotel is a traditional style Inn/Lodge type of establishment. Centred around an English style bar/pub with an informal atmosphere.
