| Michelin (same company as on the tyres) are a renowned source for travel throughout the UK. As well as publishing travel guides books they also run an established rating system for UK restaurants. Any establishment serving cuisine is eligible for rating. Criteria for a rating are quality of the ingredients, preparation, the combination of flavours, creativity, value for money consistency of standards. There just 3 levels, 1,2,3 stars. In 2007 only 3 establishments had achieved the coveted 3 star rating. | ||
