SMS - TEXT FLIGHT INFORMATIONSMS BAA has two flight information text services, Flying Messenger and Flying Messenger Plus. Requests for alerts can be made up to 3 weeks in advance of the actual flight date. FLYING MESSENGER Status alerts for any arriving or departing flight. Just text to: 82222 add the following: LHR your flight number That's all you text. LHR is the code for Heathrow Airport. The service has a window of 12 hours prior to expected time and 4 hours after arrival. You will be charged each time you make a request. FLYING MESSENGER PLUS This service will send you 4 alerts. 1: Confirmation of request 2: Status of flight 12 hours before it is due. If you request the service inside 12 hours of the due time then this will be instantly sent. 3: Notice that the flight is making its final approach. 4: Notice when baggage is in the baggage retrieval hall. If you request alerts for a departing flight you will receive the following alerts 1: Confirmation of request 2: Status of flight 12 hours before it is due. If you request the service inside 12 hours of the due time then this will be instantly sent. 3: status of flight four before its due time 4: "GATE OPEN" will be sent to you when the flight is ready to board. To use this service you need to text to: 82222 the following: 1: LHR (Heathrow specific code) 2: Flight Number 3: ARR or DEP (for arrivals or departures information) 4: Date in the formatt dd/mm/yyyy You can
