Abbey Road Studios was made famous by the 1969 Beatles Album of the same name. Most notable was the album cover which featured the Beatles walking across the pedestrian crossing just outside the studios. Now that pedestrian crossing (Zebra Crossing as its called in the UK) is a focus point for tourists from all over the world for a memorable snapshot and souvenir for their stay in London. The studios themselves go back much further in time than their days as the Beatles recording studios, originally built in 1831 this Georgian Townhouse were fist used as a recording studio in 1931. While there's no general public access to the inside of the Abbey Road Studios most tourists and Beatles fan seem content with scribbling a few words on the wall just outside. This is permanently full of messages from people who have visited from all over the world.

Opening Hours:
24/7 to view from outside
