The MCC Museum is the world's oldest sporting museum and, to this
day, it remains both world-class and world-famous. Best-known for being the home
of The Ashes. Other popular attractions include the stuffed sparrow that was
'bowled out' by Jehangir Khan in 1936, and the copy of Wisden that helped to
sustain E.W. 'Jim' Swanton throughout his captivity, in a Japanese
prisoner-of-war camp, during the Second World War. Other displays include
cricket kit used by some of the greatest players of all time, such as Victor
Trumper, Jack Hobbs, Don Bradman and Shane Warne.
Opening hours:
Open on match days at the Lords Cricket Ground or during the Lords Tour.
Lords Tour Opening:
April to September: Tours
commence at 10am, noon and 2pm every day, apart from during major matches and on
preparation days. Please note that, on other match days, only the 10am tour
enters the Pavilion.
October to March: Tours commence at noon and 2pm.
