Originally named the South Kensington Museum and first opened in 1857. The Science museum is dedicated to the all areas of the scientific and technical world including its history and development from the 18th century to the modern day. The Science museum now features its own Imax cinema for a real 3d experience, its like being immersed in the experience. The museum has a huge range of exhibits both static and interactive as well as dedicated areas for collections relating to research, exhibits focused on 3-6 year olds,
labour saving devices, power engines, space exploration, motion simulator ride, telecommunications, computing and much much more. A great day out.
Adjacent and connected internally to the Natural History Museum.

open seven days a week, from 10.00 to 18.00.
