This is a real hotel, just reception and bedrooms. No spa or gym etc. Our room was very clean comfortable, spacious and decorated in keeping with the Georgian style of the hotel. Staff were efficient and helpful.
Our room on the top of four floors smelt slightly musty but it was a very attractive, clean and comfortable.

well we read the comments left by other people and couldn't see what they complained about the bed was great the bathroom was clean and well stocked there was a strange plug hole in the floor that we couldn't figure out , had a cup of tea from the tea thingy was a bit noisy first thing in the morning with all the busses going by but most of all the bed was nice and comfy

We have just returned from the Academy, and would surely recommend it ! We find it very special, cosy, situated in a VERY quite street, nothing special from the outside, but special inside/ We had a room on the ground floor with 3 windows and garden view. It was a felling that you came to your English aunt's country house, where there is a library with a fireplace and pretty small garden. I didn't like, that breakfast was not included in the price, but when i saw fresh strawberries, and wild berries with blueberries, i gave up. But: that's true that you can hear the sounds from the corridor
