| Rated 4 out of 5 : I thought the Aerodrome was pretty good to be honest. I made a last minute booking and when I arrived at 8.00pm I was checked in quickly and given my room key. The check in process would probably have been completed even quicker if I had any ability to speak Polish. I carried my bags to the room on level 2 but upon arrival my electronic key failed to open the door. This was a little annoying as I had to lug my bags back downstairs to reception and explain. Armed with a new key I set off again to level 2 and this time I got into the room. The room was clean and the bed comfortable with a nice flat panel tv with a decent selection of channels. The bathroom was adequate but could do with a refurb in truth but it was fine overall. I went for a walk outside and there is a good selection of eating places close to the hotel. I went to TGI Friday which is 5 minutes walk away. Over the years I have become bored with run of the mill hotel meals. That said, when I returned there were a small number of people eating in the hotel and the food looked pretty good. I spent a comfortable night and checked out at 7.00am with no problems although it would have been nice if the receptionist had smiled or maybe spoken. I know it must be horrible to work on a hotel reception and have to start so early in the morning but it is not the customers fault that you made a bad career decision. This is a decent enough hotel and good value for money. Rated 4 out of 5 : I stayed at the hotel on Saturday 28th August with my husband to attend a wedding. Other members of my family were there but ony a few of us decided to stay overnight. I couldn'y fault the service or the staff: The wedding itself (civil ceremony in the hotel) and the reception were flawless and the meal was excellent - beautifully presented and tasty with no long waits as can be the case sometimes. The room was fine and the breakfast the following morning was great, with plenty of choice and a steady supply of tea and coffee if needed. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel for a casual stay and as a wedding venue. rated 4 out of 5 : The Hotel is an amazing place just as in the pictures, the first night however, we stayed on the fifth floor (the part that has not been refurbished) the springs in the beds were torture. We complained at 6.30 am and received an upgrade in minutes. The second night was fantastic. The breakfast is divine. Good parking, free gyn, satelite etc. Good stay all in all. Will stay again!! rated 3.5 out of 5 : Quiet Hotel with character, reception staff very good. Room excellent, beautifully clean. Bed comfortable. Breakfast cooked well. Coffee dissappointing, overcooked. |
