The Arch Hotel was rated 5 out of 5 by a guest:
I spent several nights at The Arch a few weeks back following a recommendation and have to say that the experience was really excellent. As a regular business traveler, the small touches of a hotel as well as the overall environment, really make a difference. In this case, the free wireless access and complimentary soft drinks in the bedroom, as well as top quality coffee maker, really add to a comfortable, homely atmosphere. Not to mention being able to unwind after a day of work by watching TV in the bath tub followed by getting wrapped up in an over-sized super comfy bath robe, before collapsing on a bed fit to audition for the Princess and the pea. My boss and I also entertained several clients during the stay, having a breakfast meeting, afternoon, and evening drinks, all of which were very well accommodated for by the atmosphere and the staff who were all really friendly and helpful. The breakfast alone was extremely impressive and I would highly recommend the French toast with fried bananas as one of several really good options. Overall, a really impressive place in the heart of London that I would definitely come back to and recommend without doubt.

Rated 5 out of 5:
This was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at in the UK, or the world for that matter. I travel a lot of business and have never encountered a place where I noticed such careful thought and attention given to guest needs. The Arch London delivers in so many ways. Check in was pleasant and efficient. My room was spotless, large and beautifully appointed, There were many small touches from the salon quality, ionic hair dryers, nespresso bar/tea service to the flat screen tv above the tub - they have thought of everything. Oh, I forgot to mention other things like the neck roll pillow to help you enjoy watching tv while taking your bath, malin+goetz products, the in-room dvd player, free wireless, the comfortable bed and pillows as well as the nicely stocked mini-fridge (soft drinks, juices and sodas as well as proper milk for tea are complimentary). No annoying extra charges upon checkout - very sane and civilized. Staff at the front desk and throughout the hotel were always pleasant and helpful. This is a hotel where the staff and management really care about the guest experience. In addition to the guest rooms, the hotel dining areas and library are stunning. The gym looked wonderful and the art work throughout is very interesting. Take a look at the alphatecture in the hallway as you walk to the library - very interesting. An upscale champagne room adjoins the dining room. I had a wonderful breakfast (great pastries, eggs, freshly squeezed juices, etc)prior to my early morning checkout and would definitely try the dining room for dinner on my next visit. The menu looked so interesting with everything from reasonably priced sandwiches and pizzas to really interesting entrees and desserts. Overall, a really great experience.

Rated 5 out of 5:
I stayed at the Arch in London for 3 nights at the beginning of January 2010, after the hotel was recommended to me by a friend. I wanted somewhere central; so that I could go shopping after my business was done and also enjoy some of the cultural attractions of the city. It doesn't really get more central than the Arch ? right next to Marble Arch, about 5 minutes walk from Selfridges and all the major shops on Oxford Street. The moment I stepped into the stylish lobby and was greeted by the friendly staff I knew that this was the place for me. It's hard to describe the design of the Arch, as it doesn't really fit into any preconceived patterns. It's modern without being cold, stylish without being poncy and yet homy and very very comfortable. It's luxurious, boasting nice modern furniture and expensive Persian rugs, but also very warm (check out the fireplace in the library to understand what I mean). You can meet your mates there for a pint, a business partner for tea or a girlfriend for a glass of champagne (of which there is a huge selection). The variety of the place is reflected in the food menu. You can have excellent and luxurious cuisine, or go for a pizza or even a burger. They also do great cocktails in the funky champagne room. As for the service, I was generally very impressed. Here is an example why: I ran out of contact lens solution and only discovered this after I came back from a business meeting at 1 am, just before going to bed. Thought I would ask at the reception if one of the members of staff had any to spare. No problem said the receptionist and sent the concierge to an all night pharmacy about half a mile away. Throughout my stay I really got the feeling that the staff want to cater to any demands of their guests in true 5 star fashion. The rooms are amazing. They are colorful and stylish and extremely comfortable, with over 200 TV channels, a free mini bar and all the most modern facilities. This hotel is not cheap, but I don't know any 5 star hotels in London that are. I will definitely stay there again and would highly recommend it to anyone who can afford it!
