Rated 3.9 out of 5:
The staff were very pleasant and non-obtrusive. The room was good value for the money, with kitchenette. However, one needed to request access to the garden, which was too much hassle. Initially a double room was given at the back, which was nice and quiet, but the single room at the front was very noisy, works going on outside etc.
Even though there was a notice on the door to close it quietly, people allowed their doors to bang, which is very disconcerting if you are trying to relax - doesn't make for a calm atmosphere.

Rated 2.5 out of 5:
they have one of those tiny shower/toilet/sink units which means when you shower you soak everything - no room. Single bed was very small rather than it being a 3ft single. Cleanliness good, location fine for what I needed but next time will book hotel or a double unit at this place.

Rated 4 out of 5:
The apartments are located on a quiet, leafy street very close to Gloucester Rd tube station and nearby to shops, restaurants and pubs. The staff were friendly and efficient and the room was clean and well serviced. The bed was quite comfortable, although not amazingly so and there were tea & coffee and a range of towels provided.
The room was however, very small. We booked the standard apartment and were expecting it to be small, but not quite as small as it actually was! To give some context we live in a 380 square foot apartment and so are used to living in small spaces. The room contained a double bed, two tiny bedside cupboards and a desk and two chairs. There was little floor space and we had to keep our suitcases under the desk. There was a small cupboard/wardrobe for hanging some clothes but it was too small to store most of our clothes. The bathroom was very small indeed - it had been converted from a wardrobe and was around the size of a typical shower in e.g. a public swimming pool. The entire bathroom was waterproofed and one corner was curtained off for the shower. The whole room would routinely get wet during a shower and showering was not very comfortable. Obviously there was no bath. The sink was very small (around the size as an aeroplane sink) which made it difficult to wash my face. The kitchenette was again a converted cupboard which contained a small fridge, 2 electirc hobs, a kettle and a microwave. This was a very useful feature as it meant that we could eat breakfast in our rooms and have the occasional microwave or pasta meal during our stay. It would be very difficult to actually cook a full meal though and we ate our meals either sitting on the bed or at the desk which was a tight squeeze.
All in all I would say that I would recommend Aston Apartments. It is better to think of them as hotel rooms with a microwave and hob rather than apartments but they are in a great location and were well looked after. We stayed for 6 days and after that time I did find the size of the bathroom a little irritating and I wouldn't recommend them for a luxurious or romantic stay, but all in all I would say we were happy with our stay.

A guest awarded the apartments 4 out of 5 saying:
My wife and I came down to London for a two-day course in the city. We were looking for overnight accommodation with breakfast near the city centre. Although SW7 is not a central locality Astons suited us very well indeed, being easy to access on the tube, and not too far to walk from the station. although this was not the original intention we actually preferred provided our own breakfast. There is a Waitrose supermarket right next to the station where one can buy the basics for breakfast. Rosary Gardens is very quiet so we did not mind not having a bedroom at the back. These are very small but v. well fitted out and spotless. We have never seen a kitchen fitted in a cupboard but the novelty interested us - everything needed for a preparing a light meal was provided so we decided not to go out for dinner. I commented to a colleague from the USA that the 'kitchenette' and bathroom were not big enough to 'swing a cat in', much to his puzzlement! If you wish to have a good night's sleep in a decent clean and quiet environment, we recommend Astons above any low-cost centrally located hotel providing breakfast. We paid BPS 94 for the double, and we would definitely stay there again on short trips to central London
Liked: Location and cleanliness, Disliked: Small room, especially bathroom (even for London)
