Rated 5 out of 5:
We thought Base2Stay was wonderful. After reading so many horror stories about London hotels we were very impressed. We only stayed one night and arrived quite late in the evening. The few staff we saw were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, the bed comfy, and the facilities excellent. If we ever have to come to London again, this would definately be our preferred base. Having a mini kitchen with sink, fridge and microwave tucked away in a cupboard is an excellent idea - we don't all want to eat out all the time. It's a shame we were only staying in London for one night.

Rated 4.4 out of 5:
LIked: kitchenette good; nice modern, functional and bright decorating; friendly personnel; good central location; relatively quiet; I like the eco-friendly approach; well documented infos for visitors.
Disliked: combined TV/internet not satisfying, better to bring own laptop.
Overall: Enjoyed my stay. Keep it up!

Rated 5 out of 5:
My husband and I have stayed at Base2Stay a few times before and we still love it. It's a really good stylish hotel that is in a good location for shopping and also there are lots of good local places to eat (The Troubadour being a favourite of mine). The staff are always really friendly and there is free wi fi as well as the convenience of having a mini kitchen (hidden in what looks like a wardrobe). On a previous trip I was in London for a week on a business course and its great being able to come back and prepare your own dinner occasionally and sort out breakfast in the morning - also what makes this very easy is the proximity to M&S Simply food as well as some other supermarkets.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting London - it gets pretty booked up though so book ahead if you can.

A Base2stay guest rated the hotel 4.9 out of 5 and said:
When travelling, I look for some basic things in my hotel (in order of importance): cleanliness, safe location, and air conditioning. Base2Stay delivered on all of these items. I did not have any issues with this hotel. Some people may prefer to have a breakfast room, but this was not an issue for me at all. There was a bakery nearby which served breakfast, as well as many other shops around. Finally, the small kichenette would easily accommodate a simple breakfast. I did not need to use the kichenette myself. Overall: When travelling, I look for some basic things in my hotel (in order of importance): cleanliness, safe location, and air conditioning. Base2Stay delivered on all of these items. Either the hotel is brand new, or it is exceptionally well maintained as my room was quite clean and well-appointed. While the room was small, it was designed to maximize the usage of the space which I appreciated. The room has a good size bathroom, a kichenette, desk, nice closet, and a bed. The LCD TV was wall mounted for efficiency and minimal space impact. The entire hotel has a clean-lined, contemporary look/feel which appeals to me. The hotel is a short walk (less than 10 minutes) from the Earl's Court Underground and the associated shops near the Underground. This made it convenient for transportation and purchase of items. The bed was a European-style (comforter/duvet) which was very comfortable. I guess that should simply say that I would gladly stay at this hotel again as it suited my needs well.
