| Rated 5 out of 5: The doors of the hotel was opened, I entered and I felt regal! What a luxury! The atmosphere was sooo....hmmmm. The staffs were wonderful. My room????? I could not get out of bed. I wanted to keep sleeping. The decor is very exquisite and breathes royalty . I have found my hotel! Rated 5 out of 5: You would not know this hotel is part of a large group. It has a feeling of opulence, with beautiful decor and rooms but most of all service at the very highest level. From first point of arrival, the greeting and welcoming is immediate, the porter/concierge, the reception staff, the friendliness, the professionalism throughout, the attention to detail and guest comfort is second to none. One of the best hotels I have stayed in, throughout the world and the best I have ever stayed at in London. Top class and strongly recommended A former guest of this hotel gave it 5 out of 5 and wrote: The Bentley Hotel is set along a row of picturesque townhouses in the Knightsbridge area of town near the Millenium Gloucester Hotel. I have completed two long stay at this hotel of 10 days or more and always stayed in a junior suite. The area is lovely only about a 5-10 minute walk down some very lovely and swanky streets to the Gloucester Road Metro stop lined with cafes, etc. Behind the hotel is Old Brompton Road which is full of great places to eat, try the Belgian Brassiere Abaye (Sp?) and the Danish Restauraunt. I have always found the lobby area beauitful and comfortable. The spa and Turkish bath area lovely as well. The fitness room leaves a little to be desired but c'est la vie. My room has always been clean, large, and furnished to a high standard. Having stayed (although I noticed some reviewers had some problems there) and having stayed at some luxury hotels in London I feel this compares very favourably and I make it my choice when I stay. The staff have always been friendly to me although when you undertake long stays they generally become friendly because of seeing you every day. I certainly suggest it to friends when they stay in London as well. |
