| Rated 4 out of 5: My partner and I stayed at Berjaya for a couple of days, while our flat was being refurbished. It is a very quaint traditional English Hotel, in a fantastic location with excellent public transport facilities. The staff throughout were polite and did their outmost to assist me and my partner. The rooms were very nice and had all of the amenities expected and provided us with a good night sleep. The continental breakfast in the hotel restaurant was extensive, compared to what I have experienced in other hotels and the bar was a great place to meet other people after work. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family and I have already made a booking for my cousin at the Berjaya, for the end of this month. Rated 3.9 out of 5: Liked: My upgrade to a better room was good. I Quite like the superior room I was upgraded to. Bed was excellenltly comfortable. Disliked: My initial booking for a double room was not good. Was in the basement had a damp smell. Room was very stale smelling. Breakfast was of no quality for price charged. Will not eat breakfast in future. Overall: My reservations about the hotel are too many winding corridors and you get lost easily. Breakfast was nothing to write home about for the Rated 3.5 out of 5: Some ups & downs. My only complaint was that my portable wifi wouldn't work in my room, nor in the bar, and in-house broadband was very expensive indeed, when so many places give this for free. Otherwise the room was ok and the bar had a nice ambience. The bar staff need to clean the beer taps a bit more often, though. I returned a draught beer, as it was off. This was very graciously replaced. |

Rating out of 10: 10 Date stayed: February 2006 review: After booking this hotel I found on the internet some very bad reviews and was really put off, and nearly cancelled my reservation. But my partner and I decided we would give it a try. To all people looking at this hotel, dont be put off by the bad reviews (which were mainly from American tourists), the hotel was lovely, just like in the photographs. Our room was a good size, clean, tidy and quite pretty. We had no complaints at all. The breakfast which was included in the price was great too. The best thing was the hotels location. Literally 1 minutes walk to Bayswater Tube station, 1 minute4s walk to the busy high street full of great little souvenir shops and loads of places to eat (try the Thai restauraunt 'Tuk Tuk' just on the corner near the hotel, amazing food.) The local tube is on the circle line, so giving fast and easy access to all of londons top attractions. Overall our 4 night stay at the hotel was great and we will seriously consider staying there again. Dont be put off by the reviews. Rating out of 10: 3 Date stayed: May 2004 review: Without a doubt the worst stay ever. I had modest expectations since it was a budget hotel. Breakfasts were good, service was second rate but ok, room was tiny but as expected. The worst thing was that the bed was older than me! Not only did it cause a back problem I did not already have, but there were bugs in my bed that caused large raised bumps on my back as I was bitten as I slept. Problem only solved when I lined the mattress with newspaper. The last night, they did change my room for another. Rating out of 10: 10 Date stayed: January 2004 review: the The Berjaya Eden Park Hotel is a VERY good place to stay i stayed there whilst writing a prject of it and was really dissopointed when i had done the project and had to leave but even though i was really busy with the project i still found time to see some of the attractions arround and they were so pretty!!! |
