A colleague and I stayed at the Best Western Chiswick following a night out at an awards ceremony. Our office is nearby so it suited us, and we were lucky to get two rooms at such short notice just the day before.
I'd contacted several hotels in the area and either they had no rooms left, or were too pricey. We secured two double rooms for just ?92 (discounted) which was excellent value next to the High Road Hotel and the Chiswick Moran (admitedly high-end hotels).
Even before checking in the service was good. Hotel Manager Soran was very friendly over the phone, handing us a discount without even being prompted. Upon check-in too he was very enthusiastic and keen to show us the hotel's facilities.
The hotel is located right on the Chiswick High Road and spread across several buildings. They are probably of Victorian age but are fully renovated and converted into self-contained rooms. Mine was on the top floor of the building furthest from reception which was in the converted loft. It was in very good condition, comfortable and clean, and save for poor sound insulation - strangely, you could hear everything happening in the street - plus a broken bathroom window blind (easily put back in place) it was fine.
Breakfast was good with a decent spread, and seating in their conservatory was a great way to start the day too. The hotel has a small bar and coffee facilities, a secure car park at the back and internet access (wi-fi is free but time on the PC in the lobby is chargeable to guests).
In summary I'd heartily recommend the Best Western. I would have given five stars were it not for the slightly noisy room, but even so this was a super place to stay.

A really great little hotel. Hotel is great for the price, and includes breakfast (full english if you like that, or the normal continential if preferred), lovley conservatory off the dining room where you can eat if you prefer, and of course parking, which is a real bonus in London. Although decor starting to date, and maybe a refurb is due soon, everything was clean and immaculate. Very, very impressed with all staff, a real credit to the hotel. Nothing was too much trouble. Great little find - close to central London just a tube ride away. We stayed at a large room at the front of the hotel, which, if you like total peace and quiet may have been a little noisy as situated on a busy junction, we loved it the hustle and the bustle, we didn't mind it a bit - thats what being in London is all about, but if you dont like that ask for a quieter room overlooking the back. Would I stay here again Yes definately, and would I recommend - Definately if you get it for the right price

Liked: Helpful staff, good location
Disliked: Beds could have been more comfortable. Lots of noise, banging doors etc
Overall: Generally favourable, staff was very good, good location for London, plenty to see in area, good selection eating places very close by.

We stayed for 2 nights, for a business trip. We were extremely impressed with the location which had an array of bars/boutiques/restaurants right on the door step. The Chiswick High Road is a great mix of sophisticated places to eat and shop, a really upmarket area to stay in London. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful, and gave us fabulous recommendations on restaurants in the local area. (The Thai restaurant is only a 2 minute walk and is highly recommended). Our room was recently renovated, and was reached by a short walk through beautiful garden area. The bathroom was modern and spotless, with a lovely double shower. We were very pleased to have free private car parking, which seems to be very rare in London when staying at hotels. Breakfast was very good, lots of choice of hot and cold, which was eaten in a lovely conservatory area. The only negative point, was that the hot water ran out quickly when showering in the morning. It was not something that would put me off staying here again. I will definately book to stay here again, each time I am in London for business or pleasure. Great hotel, fabulous staff, and an even better location.
