| Rated 4 out of 5: Liked: Very Helpful staff, modern and clean room, car park which they were happy for us to leave car in after checkout. Disliked: The room was too warm and had little ability to regulate temperature (aside from opening window which was then very noisy) Rated 3 out of 5: One night stay for championships. Room at top of hotel boiling hot eventually got a fan. There was no glasses for the water, sink plug not working, other than that had a great time!. Rated 4.5 out of 5: Very nice cosy atmosphere, small hotel that has good service, friendly staff and good breakfast buffet. I really liked the cosy small hotel atmosphere. Room was clean and comfortable. Free WiFi internet connection was really nice for using my own laptop in the room!! Only negative experience was the neighbour room's slamming door early in the morning that woke me up every time, because I could hear clearly the next door through the door of the hotel room. Other than that really liked the hotel, relatively good value for money just under 100? per night. The location is very good if you have business in Wandsworth area in South London. The Central London is a little far away though, usually one change in the tube if you go to for example to Oxford Street. If you stay out late in the Central London you need to take taxi back to hotel, that's about ?25-30 depending where you come from in London. Rated 5 out of 5: Spent a couple of happy nights in this hotel last time I was in London seeing clients. Takes 30 mins to get to Mayfair from here - perfect. Close to the river as well if you want to go for a walk. Rooms are clean and stylish. Bathroom clean, good shower power. Bed is comfortable. Breakfast is good. Lots of parking. I also liked the friendly staff. Definite value for money here, and a place I will want to stay at again. A Best Western Lodge Hotel guest rated the stay as 4 out of 5 and said: Great service form everyone from bartender to waitresses. Friendly and courteous. Very high standard breakfast, plentiful and tasty. Must be a very good chef and kitchens. Only downside for us was the standard room which was very small and not suitable for a double room. Silly things like TV on top of small wardrobe, Kettle having to stay on floor as only able to plug in under desk. No air con and room too hot. Skylight window did let in cool air but also noise and could not black out as blind build in window. Shower was tiny and shower head sprayed water in all directions. In morning shower was cold and even left on for 10 minutes still stone cold. It worked night before. Other family member had "luxury room" which I would have thought was just an ordinary room but it was fine and every thing worked ok and very nice bathroom. Would stay again but would check what room I was in. Defiantly don't stay on the top floor. Internet PC in lounge was good. Parking was excellent. Reasonable level of cleanliness. |
