| Rated 4.5 out of 5: very easy to get to and a comfortable place to stay A Best Western Shaftesbury Piccadilly Hotel guesr gave the accommodation 4 out of 5: Went to London for a few days to visit some exhibitions at the National and the V and A.Hotel3-4mins walk from Earls Court tube.Good sized room, very clean and great bathroom with lots of hot water-until the day we left when a boiler broke down and people were being moved to other Hotels. We did hear a lot of people complaining,Ithink it depended on where your room was.We were on the 3rd floor at the front of the Hotel. The breakfast which was included was more than adequate. An excellent choice of restaurants at the end of the road an Italian called Zizi?and an Indian Masala. Rated 4.4 out of 5: Excellent location of hotel. Great for Leicester square the west end and covent Garden. We booked suite for 3, excellent room the only bad point is the size but very comfy room having said that. Very noisy on a night but thats the hustle and bustle of a capital city. Staff very helpful Rated 5 out of 5: This was a weekend full of relaxation, shopping and theatre. The hotel was excellent, ideally located very close to Piccadilly Circus, hence quick access to the tube. Though truly you can walk anywhere from here. Most theatres are within walking distance, the streets are still bustling at night so felt pretty safe walking back to hotel after the theatre or a late dinner. Make sure to visit Oxford Street for some shopping. On day we took one of those hop on, hop off buses, which proved to be a great way to see all the sights in one day. Chicago was beyong excellent. It's fun, greatly put together, the music is wonderful and the performers are super talented. A definite must see. I will definitely want to see this one again. |
