We stayed here a single night after a friend's wedding and our room was so ridiculously hot it was possibly the most awful night I have ever spent in an hotel.
We opened the window but to no avail, other than now being entertained by traffic noise and drunk shouting.
The hotel is otherwise pretty decent; the staff were friendly and the decor, though dated, is entirely acceptable. Shower pressure was a joke, however. With aircon and a water pump this would be a good, budget hotel.

Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent distance to the town's main street, great for eating out or going shopping. Free WiFi always a plus.
Weather made the hotel extremely stuffy, absence of A/C was very noticeable. Car park was very hard to spot on arrival, a sign would've been nice.

I chose this hotel for its proximity to Watford town centre and was pleased by the location and the car parking it offered. Only stayed the one night but I have to say the receptionist was really lovely - thanks for making us feel instantly at home! So nice to share a smile and a joke at reception :)
