Rated 4.5 out of 5:
The Hotel looked well kept from the outside and we stayed in a club double room on the 6th floor (lift facility), which was really comfortable, and well furnished. Breakfast was good and varied, with the choice of paying an extra ?5 for traditional english, but there was plenty of continental. Would definitely stay there again.

Rated 5 out of 5:
After reading some of the reviews on the Blakemore I did not expect the superb room that we got. On arrival we were pleasantly suprised at the beautiful building that greeted us, when we checked in we were given an upgrade at no extra charge the room was tastefully decorated and furnished, I wish my bathroom at home was as good as the one in our room. Plenty of tea, coffee etc the plasma tv was a bonus. The staff were very friendly and obliging. We chose continental breakfast which was more than enough for us but for a small extra charge we could have had a full English. On the day of departure we left our cases in a secure place within the hotel and spent the day at Windsor Castle on our return to the Blakemore we decided as it was a lovely evening we would order a meal which was freshly cooked and excellent value for money which we ate on the terrace as it was in a lovely location. We paid a visit to Kensington Palace which had an "enchanted" theme it was most enjoyable we had an enchanted tea in the orangery at Kensington Palace which gave us a day to remember.

Rated 3.5 out of 5:
After being given a room that was not acceptable, due to constant banging as the room next door was being refurbished, they offered us another room which was like going back in time to the 40's awful. After going back to reception and asking to speak to the manager, because i was told there where no more rooms available. After some time the receptionist came back and said the manager was in a meeting. Once again after some time they managed to find me another room which was fine. Unfortunatley by this time we were running late for dinner, as a result missed the start of the show we were seeing at the theatre. Such a shame.

Rated 4 out of 5:
Good hotel , quiet place and area , well furnished, close to 3 underground stations and to Hyde park, plenty of nice restaurants . The rooms are wide enough ( suggest to book a superior room ) and breakfast was included at a very convenient rate . We spent 3 days there enjoying ourselves, even if we knew London very well and we come here rather every year .

A guest gave the hotel 3 out of 5 and explained:
Really good value if you stay on the 5th and 6th floor were all the rooms were confortable and completely new...infact using the stairs (since the elevator blocked 2 times during our stay) you can see and feel the difference from the old building (ground floor to 4th) and the new one!!! I suppose they are rejuventing all the infrastructure On the new rooms have all the confort from ironing to safe, from a spectacular bed to and 40'' LCD (i estimate:-)) ...Breakfast is fine...if you take the English one they will charge extra 5pound... Location Great in 5min you can take the Central line to Piccadilly or the Circle to Westiminster and the Tower Bridge
