I took my girlfriend to Blakes for our four year anniversary, although on the more expensive side of acceptable the Hotel itself lived up to my expectations.
The staff were very attentive and we arrived having dinned elsewhere to a candle lit turn down and champagne on ice, as requested earlier in the day. We stayed in one of the individually designed Luxury Suites which was impressive.
On the whole our stay was very enjoyable and I would most certainly recommend this little city hideaway.
