Liked: We knew the hotel from more than 10 years back; it's style, unique location, and it has maintained its strenghts and developed.
Disliked: Music in the lobby a bit intrusive, also because limited other public areas indoors. A library style space for dialogues or reading would be welcome.
Overall: The staff is strikingly attentive and friendly! The hotel's inclusive wireless internet connection is easy and value adding.

I have the most fantastic night in Wimbledon Village, Fab food, Fab drinks and an amazing Hotel Room. I booked my hotel through this website and it was easy, I got a bargin and stress free. The internet at its best Thanks

Lovely hotel with great setting and quality for the matching reasonable price. This does not mean that they can put the price up!<br />Only let down for a business travellor is that if an early start is required does not open till 07.00 hours. There is no option for earlier room service or breakfast on the go for these customers. Hence one is paying for lovely food that they are not able to take advantage of as breakfast is automatically included in the price.

We just moved to Wimbledon and although my MIL hates the city (all cities, basically), they drove down form the north to visit us and chose to stay at CH. Now she can't wait to come see us and talks about coming for a night every month, so we have have a regular visit and she can stay in her new favorite place. (Before any jokes are made, that's a good thing as my in-law's are awesome! ;-) She loves that it's on the edge of the park, the stylish decor, the great service and the yummy food. It's the ultimate feeling of bit-of-country-on-the-edge-of-the-city type place.
Also, hubby and I have taken to popping over there from greater W'don to have a drink at sunset when the weather is nice. On their terrace overlooking the park? You'd never believe you're in London.

We stayed here as we were attending a family event nearby and were recommended this hotel as a place to stay. We checked in early without any problem. The hotel has a very nice feeling to it - faded grandeur, dated but pleasantly so. Our room was nice although the large tree just outside our window made it very dark and we may have as well been facing a brick wall! The service at the bar, at reception and at breakfast was friendly and efficient and we had a very pleasant stay. The location is ideal. We will definitely go back.
