| Rated 4 out of 5: We stayed at this hotel as it was near access to the M25 and we were driving down from Yorkshire and had parking for our car (?10 a day). It was also near the district line (Gunnersby stop) which we needed as we were going to Tate Modern and also to see a band in the evening. The rooms were clean, had free wifi, good size bathroom with bath (for a London hotel). We were at the fornt of the hotel on 2nd floor but despite this we didn't hear much road noise at night. The staff at reception were very helpful. Breakfast which was included was continental and was good value - cooked was extra. We didn't have time to use the gym. We did use the bar where the service was good, good range of beers draft and bottled. The bar meals had a good selection and again the service was good despite being busy. We did not use the main restaurant. We are back in London in January and will be using this hotel again. Rated 4 out of 5: Very nice. Comfy beds, nice breakfast and good location. The hotel is on the district line, so was very easy to get to Kensington, Earls park etc and easy to access tube to the west end. I did notice that the staff kept getting abuse from customers. They remained polite even when I had had enough of people moaning all the time, and wanted to tell them to shut up myself lol. Breakfast on the Saturday was continental and ?5 each extra for cooked, but all was included on the Sunday for no extra charge. Bathroom was funky although the shower appeared to have no head. This is the way they all are apparently. We think that because the pressure is so great the head probably flew off. Only complaint is the parking is a rip off! Rated 4.4 out of 5: Liked: Very good hotel nice restraunt Victor the waiter was superb Disliked: The shower in my room was not the best room 211 it was either all or nothing Overall: Very good will stay there again Rated 3.5 out of 5: Really enjoyed my theatre stay for my birthday treat. The only downside was the quality of the food at breakfast. There was ample choice but the 'cheapness' of the sausage and bacon and dilution of the scrambled egg overshadowed the quantity. Rated 5 out of 5: Our room was lovely we had a huge window with great views over London, and a big bath so you really relax. A past guest of the Chiswick Moran Hotel rated it 4.9 out of 5 and wrote: The Chiswick Morin Hotel was above and beyond our expectation. I visited London with my Mum and 3 children aged 11, 13, & 15. The hotel rooms were very large and tastefully decoratorated. The family room had a large king bed and a seperate area for a seperate bed for my daughter. The full Irish Breakfast was wonderful and the service great. The hotel was in a good location with both a bus and tube stop very close, however a little further out of London then I thought. |
