| Rated 5 out of 5 : A haven after 2 tough days at King's College Hospital, very considerate of my disabled wife's needs. Have stayed twice now and already recommended to friends and family. Try the restaurant if you like tapas with a difference, but it's very popular (deservedly) so you need to book. Rated 4 out of 5 : Read a few of the previous reviews so went with the Church St. Staff couldn't be more friendly, breakfast was terrific. Room small but exceptional clean. As people mentioned, it is a little out of the hub of London, but it is only zone two so it's not an terrible. Plenty of buses close by to get you around. And dinner at the Angels and Gypsies next door a must. Thanks Hugo for a great stay, good start to our European trip. Rated 5 out of 5: I booked double suite, because a bathroom was in the room (some rooms don't have bathroom). The rates were very good in comparison with other hotels in central London. Breakfast is excellent. Rooms are clean. Only one remark: the hotel is a bit far from the tube and the centre. But it takes 15-20 minutes to get to Parliament Square by the bus no 12 (the bus stop is almost in front of the hotel). Further the bus goes to Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly, Oxford Circus. I've never been to Oval Tube station. It takes 10 minutes to Elephant and the Castle and 13 minutes to Waterloo. Rated 4.5 out of 5 : Great little Hotel, located in South London. Easy connection via bus to all major attractions and airports. Very nice & helpful staff and wonderful set up for breakfast and honour bar in the breakfast room. Close to SLG (South London Gallery). Rated 4.5 out of 5 : Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Comfy beds. Charming decor. Great continental breakfasts. Excellent value for money. Compact rooms and some of the reception staff needed more training but this is more than compensated for by the other positives. |
