We loved the hotel and would definitely return. The lounge bar was lovely and the food was great. The staff were all so friendly. We had a great stay.

The main purpose of our trip was to go to the test match at the oval, so we chose the mint hotel for its proximity to the ground - perfect, as we were able to walk to and from the match. But, when it rained, on the first day, Tate Britain, next door to the hotel, proved an excellent alternative. Also, an easy walk to Westminster for the abbey and parliament. Although there were 2 good pubs quite close, we had to go a bit further for restaurants - but, a good choice at Victoria, and also some in Pimlico. Our room in the mint was a bit too small for 5 nights, but the staff were happy to help us upgrade, for a negotiated cost, and we ended up with a suite with a lovely view of Westminster. Overall, we were very happy with our break, thank you.

Stayed here for a birthday treat in November. Excellent welcome by reception staff, nothing was too much trouble and each staff member was warm and friendly. Lovely room, spotlessly clean and was able to keep up with business at home thanks to iMac in room. The breakfast was lovely with lots of choice and plenty of staff so no waiting for ages. My only criticism would be the lounge/bar had little atmosphere and was quite pricey but hey - we were in London Baby! This was a hidden gem so very quiet when we stayed but within 5 minutes walk of the Houses of Parliament. I had a brilliant weekend and will definitely stay here again.

Would stay here again when travelling to London. Excellent location - close to buses and tube. Quiet area, even though you are still in the heart of the city. Friendly and helpful staff. Good weekend rates for central London. Room good - very comfortable beds! Nice toiletries in bathroom (White Company). Good mix of travellers at hotel (business and leisure).

Rated 5 out of 5:
A good hotel in a good spot. Definitely a good location if you are touring London. The train station was only about 5-10mins walk. Houses of Parliament, Big Ben was a short stroll away.
A nice hotel for even if you have kids. The room was clean and a good size with an appleMac and with free internet and a good selection of TV channels, fridge etc so well thought out for the guests that the room even had an ice bucket with free ice available. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Rated 5 out of 5:
Together with three friends we have been visiting London for a weekend once a year for the last 24 years. For the last five years we have stayed at the City Inn, Westminster, now Mint Hotel. The hotel is excellent - staff are extremely pleasant and efficient. It is refreshing to be greeted by a member of staff with a smile on their face and a friendly greeting. The rooms are clean and comfortable and have everything you require. The dining room is warm and welcoming, table cloths and cutlery spotlessly clean. The full breakfast is very good and there is something on the menu for every taste. The location is excellent, a short journey to the Houses of Parliament, Thames, Westminster Abbey, Wheel etc etc. A short tube trip and you are in the west end for the shops and the shows. We love it!
