| Rated 5 out of 5 : I was lucky enough to stay at Claridge's over my wedding weekend in November - this hotel is easily the best I have ever stayed in. The suites I was upgraded to, especially the Linley Art deco suite for the wedding night, were out of this world - designed so tastefully and to such a high quality it was wonderful to be able to stay in them. However the staff really made the experience special. It was the highest level of service I've ever had anywhere - everyone was always smiling, polite and so helpful with all of our requests and issues that we had over the weekend dealt with with no fuss or drama - they were just amazing. My wife summed it up by saying that 'somehow the staff make you feel as though you are the only people staying in the hotel.' If you want a wonderful experience, stay at Claridge's. Rated 5 out of 5 : This hotel is so opulent just what you would expect. We managed to get an upgrade to a suite with our own butler! The room was amazing. Had room service which was bought in on silver service sets complimentary bottle of champagne as we were being shown to our room the gentleman almost gave us a history lesson on the hotel all added to the wonder of staying in such a grand place. We stayed fr one night in the day we shopped the location is great to be near the Louis vuitton, tiffany and co etc. We ate at Gordon Ramsey restaurant very expensive for not a lot of food ! I was all that impressed with the restaurant but my husband loved it . We then hired a car and driver to take us to see Peter Kay at the O2 arena. Check out was smooth parking was very expensive to. We then spent the whole of Sunday in harrods!! There food hall is out of this world. Rated 5 out of 5 : We stayed at Claridge's for the weekend of the Bank Holiday and we could not have chosen a better located Hotel, just of the main streets of Oxford Street and Bond Street, as you would expect the Hotel was wonderful and the staff very attentive, the children loved riding the lift, which is still operated by a member of Staff. The London Eye, Had a great flight on the London Eye, the children loved being high up and we had fantastic views over London. City Cruises, a lovely afternoon on the Thames all the way to Greenwich, we saw all the sites from the Thames, it really give you a totally different prospective and a great way to spend a couple of lazy hours away from all the hustle and bustle of London. |
