review: The reception staff were very friendly THIS time (I have stayed on two separate business trips)the room was clean and tidy but COLD! The cleaners had left the heating on yesterday, which was a nice touch, thank you. The TV picture was poor, as was the sound. It was nice to get a parking space - this time!

review: I have read some of the complaints about the Comfort Inn Heathrow. Sorry, but I don't recognize them. My stay was perfectly acceptable -- clean room, excellent shower/bath, quiet - even though adjcent to the M4 (triple glazing superb), good food and friendly staff. 'Hoppa' busses very useful and good value when compared with taxis. Will definitely be staying there again!

review: My wife and I were both delighted with the cleanliness of the public areas and the rooms. We ate an evening meal in the hotel and were delighted with the standard of the food and the standard of the service. All the staff were pleasant and helpfull. Our early morning call arrived on time and we went away contented and delighted we had not paid attention to some of the previous reviews.

review: Airport hotels are strange places at the best of times, with most guests coming and going in a hurry and staying only one night. What they need most of all is efficient, polite service, all essentials catered for and minimum fuss. I found the service at the Comfort Inn/Hotel Hayes excellent - I asked for ironing board, luggage trolley for heavy baggage and morning alarm call; all were provided with minimum delay and at time requested. The room was clean and tidy, the bath water hot, the TV picture good, the bar food reasonably priced and perfectly edible. Thanks to all the staff who worked to make my transient passing so smooth and comfortable.

review: I found the hotel excellent. Food very good and reasonably priced, good service and pleasant waiters. Lounge bar very comfortable. The alarm call was on time and the shuttle bus came right up to the door which was very good as I was travelling on my own with heavy luggage

review: We complained during our one night stay about how cold the room was. Someone was sent to turn up our heating despite having been told that it was full on. The problem was a window that would not close fully and left a half inch gap. Additionally for a hotel newly renovated I would sue the contractor. Our room was damp and the paint was peeling off all round the skirting board. All in all a total disgrace, and no-one seemed to care!!!!

review: The hotel location, bar area, restaurant quality and room were all mediocre which whilst disappointing was not unexpected.
What was unforgivable was the forgotten early morning alarm call, not just for me but for what seemed to be all the guests catching the 28th July 6.15 am Shuttle to the airport. Personally, I began a very long journey stressed, unwashed, unshaved and very unhappy. The bus was delayed due to families suffering the same ordeal. Not one word of apology from the duty manager chatting away to bus driver, or from the "bemused" staff on checkout. I just wish I'd had my wits about me to make an official complaint at the time.
All an airport hotel has to do is feed its guests adequately, make them comfortable and see they get off to catch their flights in good time. It seems the Heathrow Comfort Inn can't even get this simple mission accomplished.
