Rated 3.5 out of 5:
Liked: Good tourist type hotel
Disliked: Rooms and bathroom a little short on space.

Rated 3.5 out of 5:
For London this hotel was very reasonable and extremely handy for Kings Cross and Euston Stations. The customer service was really good and staff were extremely friendly. Everything was okay but very basic but I was given a double room instead of a single so it was quite roomy and the shower was really good. As a woman on my own I felt a bit wary coming back to the hotel at night as it is down a fairly dark side street, but overall for one night it was fine.

Stayed here for a weekend of shopping and socialising in London. Had all the basics you need, strong hot shower, flat screen TV with basic channels, comfy beds, tea/coffee facilities, iron and ironing board on request, good enough hair dryer.
Major complaint would be the temperature of the room!! Soooooo cold. Turned the 2 radiators on as soon as we got there and did not turn them off all weekend, but the room just did not warm up! Definitely needs more insulation!
Also, smell of damp in hallway, and lots of doors and stairs to negotiate, not an issue for us but could be for some people.

So this was at the bottom of our hotels, but that doesn't mean we it was necessarily bad... We stayed at an older 4 star in London and a Swiss hotel in Amsterdam, so this was again the "worst", but it was clean, semi-quiet, and close to the Eurostar/Tube, which is why we picked it. Problems... The shower is terrible! Weak pressure, small as hell, and the water says it's not portable, which is weird for London?!?! The room was tiny and didn't have tissue, an iron, and again the water was not drinkable, so the coffee and tea they provide required you to buy bottled water. We left the room once with the do not disturb sign on the door and noticed when we returned the window was open?!?! Not cool as we remember closing it and locking it... The breakfast was great though and started the day off right!
